PREMIERE: LO'99 UNLEASHES SUMMER HOUSE ANTHEM 'SOMETIMES' WITH OWL EYES
After having an absolutely killer year of both shows and releases, wrapping things up with an unforgettable set at Falls Festival, LO’99 is back with his first release for 2019 and we’re already calling it to be one of the summer house anthems for the year.
Teeing up with one of Australia’s favourites - Owl Eyes, whose dreamy vocals are well known from her collaborations with Flight Facilities and Illy, together they have delivered a truly infectious pop house anthem.
LO’99 caught our hearts with several of his tech-driven releases over the last year, including ‘Bizness’ (Insomniac Records), his ‘Star 69’ remix for Fatboy Slim, as well as his Sinden collab ‘Natural' High’ on Night Bass Records. This song has a much lighter feel than the last few LO’99 releases, with just the right touch of ‘pop’ to balance it out.
Combining the whimsical vocals from Owl Eyes into LO’99’s signature deep, rolling basslines, if you close your eyes while listening to this you can almost picture yourself on an exotic beach, feeling the fresh spray of the ocean, sipping on a pina colada, in absolute bliss.
